What is left of his compositions while with the Gur&#363 is his rendering in Hindi verse of a <i>parva</i> or part from the M&#257h&#257bh&#257rata and a stanza quoted by Bh&#257&#299 Santokh Si&#7749gh, <i>Sr&#299 Gur Prat&#257p S&#363raj Granth (q. v.), ritu 5, a&#7749s&#363 26</i>. In the latter stanza Amrit R&#257i sings the fame of the Gur&#363 as a bounteous patron and offers himself for service. The former, entitled <i>Sabh&#257 Parab</i>, was completed on Bais&#257kh <i>vad&#299</i>2, 1753 Bk/ 8 April 1696.
